Brief de Design de Logo

We are a media company specializing in print and digital (no video) located in South Carolina. Some of our products include a monthly lifestyle magazine, restaurant guide, vacation guide as well as websites and marketing services. We have been in business for more than 20 years and it's time to update our logo.

We are looking for a clean, forward thinking logo that projects a modern, professional look. Our original used red, green and black but we are open to new color combinations, icons and look. Font-wise we are attracted to Avenir, but are open to sans serif and serif. We want to stay away from any script-type fonts. Our current logo has a heavy and compressed, masculine feel. We would like a more modern, gender neutral feel to the logo. You are welcome to use your creativity and create a new icon but the logo must include the words Frey Media.

The previous logo is attached for reference but we really are looking for something new. Logo must work in black and white as well as in color and visually scale in size well.
