Why is it that the customer invite designers and the designers accept and take the time to submit,
but the customer even if unhappy with designs cannot reply, even to questions???

Good question Patrick!
I also accepted the invite but I think I am not going to participate. I'd rather concentrate on other projects where contest holders take some time to provide feedback or at least rate the submissions.
