Brief de Design de Logo
I need a logo design for a company based in Toronto Canada called Twiga. We design and manufacture a line of active clothes for girls (90%) and boys (10%) with a potential tie in for women. The women's line would not carry the logo/image just the name of the company as there needs to be a clear distinction between the kids and adult segments.
The logo will be used in a number of applications, the most important of which is on the kids clothing. Most probable application for the clothing is a reflective iron-on heat set, this lends to a design that has a great silhouette (see attached pic of old logo application).
All though the line is predominantly for females, and may stay that way, a gender neutral look is desired. Also looking to stay away from anything that is too juvenile.
Colour: looking to stay with primaries. The bulk of the current product is black with pink accents.

Here are some notes from a graphic designer I talked to based on current attached logo:
1) Giraffe and wording need to be tied in. Currently they appear as two separate unrelated entities. My Note: having said this it would be nice that in time the logo could stand on its own as an Abstract logo like those shown in "Logo Style."
2) Do not need the entire silhouette of the giraffe. May be better to only use part.
3) It might be fun to work with the giraffe's spots. As these could translate well to design on business cards and other applications.
