Brief de Design de Logo

I am looking for a logo design for our family logging business. We buy timber, cut the trees and haul them to mills all around Southeast Texas. I will be using the logo for business cards, letterhead, shirts, hats, stickers for our company trucks, etc. I don't really want to use trees because that seems really overdone, I would have to love it to use trees. We cut mostly pine trees. I have thought about maybe the inside of a tree, or somehow using the blade that's on our shear head (the tractor that cuts the trees). I want something that is clean and simple, but that people will recognize.
UPDATE: I have included some pictures of the type of blade that we use, some of the designs that have been submitted have a blade that looks more like a tablesaw, the blade in the pictures I have attached is what I'm looking for if you decide to use a blade in your design. I also included a picture of one of our trucks, as you can see the sticker is just our company name. I'm looking for something with a symbol that can be more of a brand so people will recognize it and it catches the eye.
