Brief de Design de Logo

We are looking for a new logo for our building company which is based in Melbourne, Australia. This logo has to be appealing to an older demographic who are looking to add value to their homes by using our building services. We would like the logo to be simple but unique. We would prefer to use friendly colours that demonstrate security and trust; such as blue white, black, green, silver etc. Most importantly we would like to have an icon/symbol to go with our text on the logo - examples are attached.
