Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a group of entrepreneurship educators that we're calling "Entrepreneurship Leaders of the Midwest". ELM is the acronym. The tagline is "Turning Education Into Action"

We all teach entrepreneurship, and are working together to do a better job of learning how to engage students in entrepreneurship through active methods (i.e., make them be entrepreneurs) instead of textbooks, tests, case studies, etc.

We would like to see designs that use greens and browns, that signify growth/growing and action. Using the ELM acronym, the final design should signify growth (like an elm tree) and action and education.

Good afternoon -  thank you for all who have submitted designs.  We see some themes coming through, which are great.  In general, the group wanted to provide some feedback to everyone based on the first grouping of logos we're seeing:


1. They like the idea of including roots in the design.  We're seeing alot of designs where the text is very separate from the logo.  Perhaps there's a way to join the two better by incorporating the text as some sort of roots of a tree?

2. We like the more earthy colors.  Greens and browns and blues even - please stay away from pastels and such.

3. we like the logos that seem to be incorporating some element of "action", so please try to incorporate an active element, or some symbolization of "action"

4. To incorporate the "education" piece, the group likes the idea of incorporating a lightbulb sort of element - just a suggestion

We are very much enjoying the plethora of designs - great work being done here on our behalf!  Thank you so much.  Here is some continuing feedback in general:


1. We need something representative of a tree in the design.  We also like the idea of including roots in the design

2. Colors should be greens and browns and earthy sort of colors - nothing bright, pastel, etc.

3. We would like the image and words to be integrated.  Many of the designs we're seeing have what seems like two separate elements (one being the image, one being the words).  The more integrated these two elements are, the better
