Brief de Design de Logo

UPDATE 19/05/15; Logo changed to 'Loaf by the Beach'

We are looking for a logo design for an existing bakery we are buying and then rebranding. The new business name will be “Loaf by the Beach”. The Bakery is a more traditional retail outlet with minor wholesale. We will be looking at moving into artisan breads in the future.

The design we are looking for should be simple, clear, and minimalistic. Use of colors to possibly include would be red, blue, yellow, and white. Any use of white should be inside a boarder so as to show on a white background. The business name should also be included at the bottom of the logo, no preference on font, but elegant ideal. This Logo will be used in branding the business on letter heads, uniforms, and signage; So font and design should be readable, and recognizable. Staff uniforms are going to be dark blue shirts so the logo will need to be easily read on a blue background as well.

While I realise that the name of the business may bring to mind a loaf of bread sitting beside the beach, try and avoid it unless you can make it look amazing.
