Brief de Web Design

We need a PSD web design for an online children's boutique called 'Londees'. We specialize in special occasion wear for infants. Our apparel products are typically selected for christening & baptisms, birthdays, holidays and weddings. We would like to see designs that compliment our existing logo and business card. The final design should communicate a sense of luxury, but also be fun and oriented towards children.

Our current website is www.londees.com. Note: Not all products are loaded.

Changes to the color scheme, fonts, background and graphics are welcome. And while we like the layout of my current BigCommerce theme (Athletic), we do expect that SMALL modifications will be needed to make it ours. For example, we would like the cart to be placed more visibly. I have a designer that can code the changes you come up with so feel free to suggest what you feel is best.

• These 5 items listed below are things we’d like:
• (1) General styling (color scheme, fonts, background, graphics, etc.) & layout
• • ONLY the logo colors are set … feel free to add colors that compliment it
• • Prefer narrow (or single line) footer
• • We think the main banner/image is too large
• (2) Create main banner/image (current template uses 970px wide)
• (3) AT LEAST Three (3) Marketing banners (current template uses 433 x 225):
• • Our Hottest Products
• • Our Newest Arrivals
• • Newsletter sign-up
• (4) Border to enclose admin links (My account, Gift Certificates, Create an Account)
• (5) New badges / icon / images
• • Shopping Cart --> Bag or cart image should stand out; try to place above search bar (you’ll have to lower the search bar to do this)
• • Sale Badge --> anything goes. Could be a badge or a sash. Might also be nice to have these for the bestsellers as well.
• • Star Icons for product reviews (optional) --> Keep the stars just have them be more stylized

• We like pages that have a background and think one might look good on our site if not too busy.
