Brief de Design de Logo
The Brief
GAS MONKEY is a restaurant, bar and grill that will carry the “GAS MONKEY” name.
We are looking for a logo to use for all our branding
Our motivation is to establishing a new exciting brand for Christchurch, New Zealand that is Edgy’ and neighboring suburbs can relate to.
The concept is around a casual diner, powered by ‘GAS’, to accompany the grill.
The logo needs to represent an eatery and bar foremost, the monkey needs to be cool sophisticated and slick yet also be family friendly (not scary). Even though Gas is in the title, gas pumps and the like do not represent well with food.
I have attached an image I have worked on only as a guide or it maybe used. Prefer black and white and something that can be reversible. Also if the words can be exterior to the monkey image then we can move them around as needed.

- Text that is separate from the image ie if the image alone was to be used on a wine glass with no text. A logo where the text can be easily changed from quite wide to on top of each other ie front of building, long and narrow. Front of menu short and narrow.
- Also, only text needed is the words Gas and Monkey. we haven't decided on the buy line yet. it could as simple as "eat drink"
- BLACK WHITE AND RED
- Monkey would be good to have sunglasses and maybe pulled down with a wink or monkey looking over the top.

- incorporate 1 colour if needed, maybe red as our local team colours are red and black
