Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo for the header for my blog.

It needs to include the title of the company, a kicker line under it and a graphic element.

The blog covers ideas that are on the fringe (both objects and ideas) ie a monkey flower is something which blooms out of a person's mind.

Company name: monkey flower
Kicker: fresh ideas for curious times

Text most likely lower case (but keen to see other possibilities)

Graphic element: A simple stylised flower (possibly with the letters "mf" as the stamen). Spot colour: #e5554e. The text possibly in mix of grey and black and #e5554e (not adverse to other colours as long as #e5554e is included as important element.

Photo of rough shape for stylised flower attached.

The graphic element would work as a stand alone element for Facebook and Twitter profiles etc.

I've attached a draft design I put together myself to indicate my basic thinking.
