Brief de Design Emballage

We need a packaging design for a new product designed for babies who are unwell and struggle to sleep. The product is called storkSLING and is a sleeping device used in the baby's cot to hold them in place on the mattress.

The product will slip securely over the top end of the baby’s cot mattress, allowing the harness section the baby lays in, to hang down onto the mattress. The baby is prevented from sliding down the mattress, when the mattress is put on an incline or rolling around when slept of the flat.

Packaging Type: We are looking for a design style to match our current logo and colour palette (attached file StorkSLING Final logo & Palette). The shape of the packaging will be a J card insert for a plastic zip bag. The Zip bag will measure approx 25cm x 30cm and the J card should slide into the zip bag, with the product added (see photos of a similar product packaging Snoozzz). The J card should be printed full colour outer and no print inside.

Imagery: Ideally we want to continue the branding we have created in the logo. The colours and cute cartoon style is important, but we also like the use of white space, keeping the design crisp, fresh and medical.

Content: The front of the J card should carry the storkSLING product name, logo imagery and branding colours. the words 'Sleep Sling' should be the larger sub text and a close range image of the baby using the product (we will supply). We also want these features mentioned on the front:

*For babies with reflux, congestion and respiratory conditions
*Can be used with a wedge or on an incline
*Helps promote sleep and safe sleeping position

On the reverse we would like to use drawings to describe how to use the sling. We'll need four bubbles or rounded boxes with the stage drawing inside. (we'll supply photos to copy at a later date as the product is still in manufacture process) With a 'how it works' type title. We'll have 2 paragraphs of descriptive text (use place holder for now) a retail barcode (use place holder), space for a sizing SKU sticker, company contact information, compliance logos (use place holder).

On the spine we need the storkSLING brand logo, website address.

We'd like the final assets to be editable, so that we can make changes inhouse.
