Hi, thank you for the brief. Are there any set of colours to follow or we are free to work with any colour.

Hi, basically you are free to do what you think looks nice. But I
would like to keep it simple with not too many different colours

I would like to have a ribbon in the design, and a Liège waffle (not too be mixed with other
kinds of waffles, per example the common Bruxelles waffle which is made from batter.
Liège waffle is made from dough and has a different shape after it is baked.
I hope this helps.

Ps. I will keep an eye on other logos I like and will upload it as soon as I can,
so you can see what styles I prefer.
