Brief de Design de Flyer

We are ViFX, a boutique IT consultancy based in Auckland, NZ. We specialise in cloud computing and IT infrastructure strategy, design and build for enterprise level organisations with complex IT challenges. Our work is always B2B. We are at the cutting edge of IT infrastructure and at the high end of the market. Our value positioning is more-for-more.

Whilst our work is high end, little work has been done on our brand identity. It is largely underdeveloped from a visual identity perspective with little investment since our inception five years ago. All work on brand and visual identity development has been undertaken in house to keep cost to a minimum.

We are seeking a 'template' for our product data sheets which we use to communicate our various and often changing products and services. This template design would need to be able to be reused in-house, allowing us to write and load copy into certain sections, each section should be a fixed number of characters and words. The designer should help us interpret the size of these sections. Alternativley we may use the winning designer to load new copy and images into the template for new sheets.

Upon selection of the winning design and upon finalising the look, we will require the designer to supply to us the native *.indd files for use inhouse, so we can populate with copy for other data sheets, the *indd MUST be compatible with CS2.

Alongside the awesome look and feel. The template should create 'spaces' for us populate with the generic components of data sheet copy. An IT product data sheet typically incorporates, title, subtitle punch-out, problem definition, solution definition, features, benefits, an inbrief overview, pricing and contact-us info. We would like the double sided data sheet to include the following sections. The deisgners final template will tell us how many words, characters or bullet points we cna fit into each section depending upon their recommended point size for each section.

I have attached a crappy in-house produced version which can be used for purposes of loading copy into your design - you will see each section that matches to the sections as outlined above.

The finished design should use our logo, corporate colours, corporate font (calibri) to produce a double sided A4 product data sheet that can be simply resued for a range of our services and products. Space for images should be included, and typographical treatments for headers.

We would like the design to push our brand identity a little further than where it is now by adding new iconography into our brand pallette that complements our colour scheme and logo. This should be appropriate for a forward looking, high-end IT integrator. We are looking for designer to interpret our brand and make recommendations of where we can take it now.
