Brief de Design de Logo

I'm starting a website where I will be showcasing my personal Tennis Memorabilia. The collection includes hundreds of items, like autographed match used rackets, match used equipment and clothes, signed magazines, stadium seats from The US Open, and much more. The items range from the early 1900's to today. The site is called "World Tennis Museum".

I'm searching for a design that communicates professionalism, authenticity and a traditional feeling with a touch of modernism. It shouldn't be too flashy.

I like the colors green and blue, but don't limit yourself to these colors. I definitely don't want a trophy in the logo and I don't want the logo to be text only.

Some icons I like are shields, rackets, tennis balls, and something that suggests the 'world'. I'm not suggesting using all of these elements in one design, but just use them as inspiration. Also, please don't limit your ideas from these suggestions.
I'm generally picturing the logo to be an icon with the words "World Tennis Museum" below/around it.
