Brief de Design de Logo

We are a full service hardwood flooring company offering sales, installations, refinishing old floors. As the owner of the company I am younger than anyone else in the industry and bring a friendly, clean and modern approach to the otherwise grungy and old school hardwood flooring "trades" industry. We would like to keep our original logo in the design (but not entirely necessary) our name "Enterprise Custom Hardwood Floors" is a little bit long - I am considering making the logo modern with colours like navy blue, charcoal's, gold, white, grey. I am thinking of turning my original logo into possibly a 3d design with the abbreviations "ECHF" (not necessary) something a little bit compact that will fit nicely on a business card and invoices. I would like this logo to display a balance of modern colours and characteristics with a vintage elegant feel in there as well - as this industry is hardwood flooring and being kind of a classic old school craft. As mentioned if we could find a way to incorporate modern with a vintage flare.
