Brief de Design de Logo

We are a seventh-generation family farm in northeastern Ohio, located about 60 miles east of Cleveland and 40 miles south of Lake Erie. This year we will be certifying about 100 of our total 850 acres under the USDA organic certification program. Our objective is to diversify our commodity (corn, wheat, soybean) operation by producing organic root vegetables, leafy greens, and grass fed beef-- and, oh yes, to help save the planet in the process.
One of the fields that is to be certified has been known throughout our family history as "Little Egypt". According to family legend, a 65 acre farm came on the market after WW I and our Great Grandfather considered buying it even though it was located two miles away from our home farm. This was back in the horse & buggy days so moving farm equipment the two mile distance must have seemed like a deal breaker. One of my Great Uncles supposedly chimed in, "...holy smokes, we may as well buy some ground in Egypt." Well, the name stuck.
There are two main fields on the Egypt Farm; a big 30 acre one and the smaller 12 acre one, now known as "Little Egypt". We think this would be a fun,interesting brand for our new organic operation-- and one that could expand with us if we move from farm production to value-added processed products. The actual ground is pictured below.
