Brief de Design de Logo

We have a new company and need a modern and powerful logo to be created.

The brief is:

Need a logo with the name of the company next to it. Logo should have MWG as part of the design.

Company name is: Martin Williams Group – this is our management company and will oversee 5 other companies and 10 businesses, so the logo needs to be very powerful.

Colours: Red and Yellow (Chinese, McDonald type colours)

Logo symbols must include a Phoenix (on left) and a Dragon (on right side), see the attached image of the Jade Phoenix and Dragon. We actually have this in our foyer and would like the Chinese symbolic meaning and power of this to be in our logo, but does not need to look Chinese if that makes sense. Looking for more of the concept.

The second image is an example I found of a dragon that I quite like. I like how the dragon is a simple but powerful image and it is on the outside of the circle, which is actually a G.

Could we place a similar looking phoenix on the opposite side of the circle and facing the dragon, with the same look and power.
