Thanks guys for all your submissions. I do the best I can to provide feedback to as many. If your design is in contention it will have at least a four star rating even if it may have no feedback.

I will be shortlisting later today with a view to selecting a winning design. Please note that I am looking for a combination: boxset design for print as well as just a front for online; also am looking at a cover design with a variance as release will be single then full album and will increase design amount by a further $30 for this.

I may not manage a comment on every design and so I take this opportunity to thank all of you who have taken the time to submit; thank you for all your time, effort, commitment and patience.

I didn't notice a deadline time above on the brief today, I have a design I have been working on. Any way that I can submit?

Hi to everyone. Again, I thank you for your participation and must now begin the selection process. A number of submissions will be dropped, unfortunately I cannot comment on them all. There may be some comments on the shortlisted to allow a final opportunity to improve on their submissions pending winner selection. I'm now realizing after putting much thought into your CD design there is a theme of African that needs to be brought out. I'm not familiar with African jazz as opposed to jazz although I believe jazz started with Afro Americans. That's the reason I submitted the turn of the century piano in an updated logo style with African style colors and is in the time frame of its beginning. If you are wanting to separate yourself from all the other Jazz music I would consider going with an African style theme although it doesn't have to be full blown since it is the music you are playing and in the title. I would concentrate on using colors and forms (however loosely) that remind one of this kind of jazz.
