Hello Chicken Gold Camp

Love your pictures and text - especially the hand-drawn layout which I'll look at in more depth tomorrow. However, I just need to clarify what Chicken Gold Camp actually is; are you essentially a campsite offering the extra activities highlighted? How many of the logos would you need to include? And also - what's the actual link with chicken? Here in Wales (UK), everything's about sheep :-)

Hi Carla,

Chicken Gold Camp (&Outpost) is a resort of sorts...includes RV park/campground, cabins/rooms, cafe, espresso bar, gift store, the Pedro Dredge (National Historic Site) and museum...and we offer activities, primarily gold panning and recreational gold mining.

We would want our logo (the pan symbol with panner), the old gold miner logo. All of the smaller logos, like "Made in Alaska", "Alaska Grown", etc are not that important. The "Good Sam" and "ACOA" logos would be nice to include on the contact page.

The community of "Chicken" Alaska was supposedly named around 1900 by gold prospectors who intended to name it "Ptarmigan" (a grouse like bird found here) but couldn't agree on the spelling so decided to name it Chicken (which was a nickname for the ptarmigan)...and so it goes!
