Brief de Design de Logo

Update to brief:
I need a logo for a business named Madame Clafouti. The business primarily caters haute patisserie fine-pastry cakes and other gourmet items (definitely not icing cakes or your average pastry).
The prime product is sweet patisserie but I now realise that having a logo that communicates only sweets or only cakes would be very restrictive as the business will probably evolve to provide other baked pastry products including savoury. The common element in all products is the gourmet feature.

The target consumer is middle-class adults to high-class(not children).

The inspiration for the business name is the French rustic dessert Clafouti that is based on cherries (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clafoutis). The dessert brings me playful childhood memories and it is one of the reasons that I got interested in pastry.

However, please note that the business is not focused on rustic pastry but rather on using high quality innovative gourmet ingredients, with designs that are sharp and elegant, modern and colorful.

• (1) The logo needs to communicate the name "Madame Clafouti" (either lowercase or uppercase letters or proper case as you see fit).
  Update to brief: (2) Communicate the keyword "gourmet"
  (3) The main color theme is hotpink, but can be combined with some other matching colour (e.g. cherry red, green or some other colour that you feel that it looks right).
  (4) The logo can be printed in black and white.
  (5) All designs should feature a whisk, and a cherry. These elements could stylized. The cherry should not stand out, and should be more like a discreet cute reminder the clafouti.
  
  The logo needs to be elegant, modern and exciting. The logo will be used as a letter heading, in a website and will be printed on a sticker to be placed on top of cake boxes. So, it should be somewhat compact and not crowded).
  

Bien d'avoir

• I was keen on a round dotted font ( e.g: http://cargocollective.com/andreabianchi/Piccolo-Typeface OR http://christopheraritter.tumblr.com/post/25925118038/dot-typeface-by-trafik ) , but I am not sure how it could be readable or possible to make it nice in a logo.
  I like round shapes in general, but you can come up with something else.
