Brief de Design de Logo

*******I have been impressed with the submission thus far and I have decided to push this project to guaranteed payout.***

Our company designs outdoor games and clothing. We are based in the Appalachian mountains and would love to develop a playful and easily recognizable image to help brand our products.

We would like the logo to be able to fit in a circular space as some of our product designs necessitate it's placement there.

We have considered subject matter from Bees, to Mason Jars (with Honey Labels), to honeycombs, to.......well I am open to your creativity...

I will add the text below, but it is not a necessity that text is included in the logo.

I have also uploaded images that I like, but belong to others. I want to be respectful of other people's work so please don't copy.

The committee is reviewing the designs tomorrow. We are going to make an initial cut of logos that just don't fit our vision.  We will then provide feedback to those in the running as soon as possible.  Most revisions are color/text.

Our committee is meeting today and we will be making final cuts tonight to get down to 3 or 4 designs.  We may ask for some small revisions to those designs, but we will stop accepting any new graphic entries.

We will post our final decision Saturday.

Once again, thank you for all of your effort.  We are simply blown away at the quality or work and creative energy all of you have brought to this project.

Based upon the experience we have had with submissions we are able to "tighten" the parameters of the logo design we are looking for.

1.  Symmetry.  We have really gravitated toward the image that can fit on a circle and communicate an image no matter where it orients itself.  Our most popular product is rolled and the ability of the image to make sense from all angles of rotation is important.

2.  Simplicity.  If we can keep the image to 1 or 2 colors in addition to black that would be great.  We can handle a fade on the colors which we think adds depth.  This also becomes an application issue in that our product manufacturing just does not allow us to utilize a billion colors.

3.  We really like the font Emfatic NF.  We don't have to stick exactly to that font, but we thought it would help to give you this direction.

I am going to post under "images" the previous winning logo that we had selected, but was too closely trademarked.  It is unfortunate, but we want to convey as much as we can concerning what we are looking for in order to help you be efficient with your time.
