Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo for a new consulting business, the logo would be used on both web and printed material. The business name is DataFoxtrot and we provide consulting services to business looking to monetize data (big data, content) as a product offering. For example a company may have a data asset that they are using internally for analytical purposes and they can resell that content in some form to a new customer base creating a new revenue stream.

the company names comes from 'data' (of course) and 'foxtrot' (uptempo, creative, maybe a little playful too). I'm not looking for a logo that is too whimsical... no foxes, no letters shaped as two people doing the foxtrot, etc.
