Brief de Design de Logo

I've been a video editor for almost 10 years, just working as a sole trader.

Looking to expand my business, I have now formed a company called Crayonbox Creative, which mainly specialises in video editing & filming. We also do a bit of graphic design, photography and online work.

I'm looking for a logo that is colourful and stands out - representing a professional, young, innovative company (however, it shouldn't be so colourful it becomes too busy or over the top). It can be a type only logo, an emblem/symbol, or a combination of the two.

It does not need to reflect the business - i.e - have video cameras or design tools etc. I'm just looking for something abstract that stands out as a name not an industry.

I have included 2 files - one of a type face I like called Sketch College (from dafont.com). The other is of a logo mock up I did showing something more abstract. I'm open to any ideas you have!
