Brief de Design de Logo
We're a 2-year old band based out of Ottawa, Ontario called Saint Clare. We play fuzzy rock n' roll, pop, garage/punk type songs with catchy choruses and the band cites Beulah, The Deadly Snakes, Kelley Stoltz, Mikal Cronin, and The Jesus & Mary Chain as influences on their mixed-up fuzz pop sound. We're currently looking for a logo that could be used as part of our brand/identity, for our new Website, t-shirts/pins, and potentially on the cover of our next record. Some colour is fine so long as it also looks good in B&W. Looking good in just B&W is a must though.

If I mentioned I liked where your designs were going, please continue to move forward with adjusting them based on my feedback. For anyone considering this project, I had an idea last night...I'd like to see a text based logo with a broken cross. The words "Saint" and "Clare" would be stacked in the right of the logo with the cross on the left. The cross (in my head) is 3D in design, though simple, and is broken at the bottom 1/5th (straight part) with the top 4/5ths of the cross fallen and leaning on the "S" of "Saint".Text portion of the logo can be punk in aesthetic without being an exact duplicate of past logos (like The Misfits or The Fiends - both which can be found easily via Google Search).As a band, part of our core "imagery" is that of pop vs punk, saint vs sinner, good vs bad, pretty vs ugly (which is why I had originally requested a black and white logo). The logo should emphasize this contrast in some/multiple ways. Added Friday, February 20, 2015
