Brief de Design Illustration

I am launching an e-commerce platform by the name of healthyogre.com. The website is designed to offer information on Health through its online health magazine and retail products under various categories such as:

1. Service discounts and packages at gyms, spas, pathology labs, thyro care centers, radiology centers, fitness classes, aerobics, yoga etc.
2. Health supplements and aids such as sports nutrition, supplements, BP monitors, lancing devices, nebulizers etc.
3. Skin care products which are niche to the market and have herbal/ ayurvedic elements attached this could include body and bath products, lotions for specific requirements through to general products
4. Hair care products which could be general products all the way through to herbal and ayurvedic lines of products
5. Beauty and Make-up products from leading brands
6. Fitness equipment’s

The concept of the ogre to us is that ogres are synonymous to our day to day lives, though they live in dirt and slumps they are strong and fit, survive the worst environments which is pretty much the way life is today; pollution in air and water or be it the pesticides in our daily consumption through food items; all the more a reason for the recent surge in health awareness and fitness regimes becoming common in households around the world.

Often marketing tries to woo the opposite, something that catches one’s attention and is easily remembered. No one remembers that silly model who would advertise for an insurance company but they do remember the dog called Churchill, or the phone from direct line… even better cartoons and mascots have led the best brands around the world, be it Mc Donalds, KFC’s founder in black and white, Michelin etc.

The term Beauty goes with the beast, and so we thought Healthy goes with an Ogre………!
