WBA Sponsorship Packet Cover Design for Upcoming Gala

We need a design for our annual balls sponsorship package front and back cover, it must be a standard 8.5x11 in size. The design must capture the essence of the theme of the event, which is Paradise Valley, as well as be of the same qualities as years past (I've attached a sample that we do not want to go with, as well as last year's package for your review).

The Theme: Paradise Valley was the business district and entertainment center of a densely-populated African-American residential area in Detroit, Mi. It became known as a lively area with jazz bars and nightclubs. From the 1930s to the 1950s, residents in Black Bottom made significant contributions to American music, including blues, Big Band, and jazz.
