Poster illustration for NZ queer film festival

C'est ce que Out Takes: A Reel Queer Film Festival recherchait dans leur illustration design

We need full colour graphic art (an illustration) for the 2013 poster for Out Takes 2013: A Reel Queer Film Festival. Out Takes is New Zealand's queer film festival showcasing the best international and New Zealand queer feature films, documentaries and short films. We aim for a very inclusive programme every year that appeals to all members of the queer community - gay men, lesbians, transgender people etc.

Out Takes is one of only a few national queer cultural events in New Zealand and we want our poster art to have lots of visibility in mainstream media and venues but to also really attract our queer community members, some of whom may not be aware of the festival.

The illustration should ideally reflect both a queer and Kiwi sensibility and have a link with film culture.
