What are design mock-ups and why am I receiving them?

Design mock-ups are non-editable images used by some designers to illustrate how your logo would look on different contexts or applications - on business cards, an office wall, a metal surface, a wood surface, etc.

Mock-ups are strictly for presentation purposes only and should not be confused as the final logo.

Please keep in mind that the actual files the designer would provide if chosen as a winner will be those of a flat version (meaning not in an angle, and on a plain background, without 3d effects) as it's the only one that allows for a full-vector format which is the industry standard for logo designs.

Don't panic! You will still be able to then take the source files to a printing company to have it produced on any of the materials you'd like.
