Wine label required for new ethical south African red wine called ESSAY which stands for 'Everson, shears, spencer and you' but is also a play on 'SA' and that it has a story to tell. William Everson is the wine maker, Shears the farm owner, and Spencer an investor.

Concept is a simple old type writer font on a white/off white label. Front label would say 'Essay No.1, 2010 Shiraz, South Africa' and similarly a second for another wine 'Essay No.2, 2010 Cab/Merlot Blend. Maybe the round stain of the bottom of a wine bottle in the bottom corner? Would also like for the 'essay' to double up as the logo and work in the form of a stamp.

The rear label will need to tell a short story and be able to accommodate the usual boilerplate info. The story will go something like, ' Essay No.1: It's a long story, but in short we love our wine and we think you will too.
