Her motto is simple: A d ...more For over 15 years, Emily Bingham has been providing high-quality website and print designs for clients all over the world. Her motto is simple: A design does not need to expensive in order to be effective or beautiful. Some of her clients have included The Thunderbird Foundation for the Arts, the Utah Shakespearean Festival, Quantum Development Group, Utah State Senator Karen Morgan and United States Senate Candidate Scott Howell. Emily attended Utah State University where she majored in theatre arts and liberal studies. she co-chaired the College Democrats, and was the student campaign manager for the successful Frank Prante for Legislature campaign in 1988. Upon graduation, Emily moved back to the Bay Area, she began working in the high-tech industry, first as a technical support consultant and then as a stand-up trainer and marketing presenter. Her love of technology and the arts soon merged when her job responsibilities transitioned to web site design and internet marketing. At the same time she continued to work in her family’s art gallery and helped them to establish the Thunderbird Foundation for the Arts, a nonprofit organization that oversees the Maynard Dixon Summer Home and Studio in Mt. Carmel, Utah. In 1999, Emily relocated to Utah with her family. She set up shop as an independent web site designer, and was named Vice President of the Thunderbird Foundation for the Arts. Every summer she oversees a major art show, featuring some of America’s most prominent artists. In 2006 Emily was the Democratic candidate for Senate District 28. Shortly thereafter, she was hired as the Communications Director of the Utah House Democratic Caucus. In 2008, she was campaign manager for Karen Morgan for Utah Senate, and under Emily’s leadership, Karen won with 53% of the vote. In January 2012 Emily was appointed to be the Communications Director of the Utah Senate Democrats. Later in 2012 she was recruited to run a United States Senate Campaign. Today, Emily continues to consult in Utah Democratic Party politics while continuing to run her website and design business out of her Salt Lake City office. Emily has travelled the world, but her most cherished time is with her family around the dinner table, discussing the day’s events. hide
