My name is Caitlin Torres, and I am the owner of Beyonddesign.art. To tell you a little about myself as a designer and marketer. I have an A.A. in Graphic Design from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. Or as they like to call themselves FIDM. Here I studied all Adobe Creative Suite programs, and also dove into entertainment marketing design. FIDM specifically focused on campaign design for movie posters, video games, and music artists. Here I earned my Photoshop expert badge. Moving along further into my career I began working for companies learning and enhancing my skills as a photographer. I worked for Teddybear portraits, and then Ecommerce innovations as their portrait photographer. Here I struck an interest in social media in 2015 when my photos started to get used in social media marketing. Eventually I went on to lead the social media campaigns for @inspiredsilver, @endofretail, @inspiredcharms, and @inspiredcases. We had used Pinterest, Facebook, and Instagram to gain the majority of our holiday sales through strategic marketing. My interest in social media did not stop there. I moved over to @headzup and @rexcentervegas to manage their social media feeds. Here I used Google Business Ads, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. In addition, I was the assistant to our main Graphic Designer. Together we created all signs, brochures, table tents, flyers, posters, documents, PDF packets, business logos and branding the company needed. Our company owned Headzup, Test before you go, Prime Steakhouse, and Rexcenter Vegas. It was a very busy job to say the least. The social media world is always changing. That’s why I decided to get a certification from Facebook this year in Social Media Marketing. Now I am able to use SMART goals when launching social media campaigns measuring KPI metrics. This course has helped me become more organized and intently curate content with my ad calendar. Since then I have launched www.beyonddesign.art to freelance my skills and interests: graphic design, social media, and photography. In the last 7 years I have gained so much experience and knowledge working for companies. Now I love being able to decide on my own project that interests me. I would love to work with you.
