What motivates me most is Eco design and finding a viable solution to propagate positive change in society. I aspire to provide inspirational, thought provoking design, influenced by sustainable energy and to work alongside those who share the same purpose of bringing life to our design. My vision has been strongly influenced by being a New Zealander, raised in one of the world’s richest arcadia to explore the boundless beauty of shape and function which nature provides. My design interest and mind were forged early with a strong fascination for ‘how things worked’. My inquisitiveness even went to dismantling my brother’s prized possessions. Consequently I fell into the creative field of design which enabled my mind to explore limitlessly. As a young adult, travel and living amongst diverse cultures has added to forging my design mind. Completing my first years of tertiary education in Florence, Italy, where I graduated as a Master of Industrial Design, has enabled to formally embrace my design purpose. This included time spent in hidden alleys unknown to tourists, drawing inspiration from the energy for past creativity concealed in these spaces. I strongly value my common sense, design passion and beliefs which I know will continue to keep me enthused to deliver innovative and tangible solutions. Who knows?
