Stewart has been actively showing in galleries since 2002 in various locations from Wichita KS, Chicago, San Francisco, and Brooklyn New York. He has curated 3 major group shows, produced 4 solo exhibits and been featured in several print and web based publications. He also creates video projections and helps produce a monthly event called HEADZ which highlights local and national artists in the forward-thinking electronic and hip hop worlds. BIGMENTION  was founded by Stewart in 1997 initially as an outlet from which hecreated and distributed DIY zines. Soon after it also became the namefrom which he produced designs for a variety of clients that include: NPR, KMUW 89.1, DEKAGON RECORDS /ARCHETYPE, TEMPORARY RESIDENCE LTD., SIMONE CHICKENBONE /CHICKENPOOP, ANTIMOSITY, RECYCLED THREADS, ULRICH MUSEUM OF MODERNART, THE CITY OF WICHITA, FOCUSED ON VIDEO / F2 STUDIOS and BOOST MOBILE.  Most recently BIGMENTION was hired to handle all ofthe visual propaganda for the TALLGRASS FILM FESTIVAL. additionally BIGMENTION produces and self publishes limited edition art books, recordings, films, and whatever else comes along. The BIGMENTION design aesthetic is one that lends itself to a wide variety, style-wise.
