AFTP is an internet-based consortium whose goal is to empower the global population to invest efficiently in financial markets by learning to apply a variety of quantitative stock market prediction techniques developed by professors at top U.S. universities. These techniques have good predictive performance for different classes of financial assets comparable to large existing mutual funds in the US. With the advent of online trading platforms, an increasing number of individual investors participate in the stock market. However, most individuals lack awareness about the existence of these academic prediction methods. Also, personalized decision-making based on these methods cannot be achieved without the application of optimal quantitative tools.
