Brief de Web Design
We are open to advice on project budget so feel free to message me regarding this. We understand there are people from all over the world looking at this so initially we may be looking at just a landing page to just give us an idea of the design and that can be enough to win this contest. From there we can agree a reward / payment for the whole site.
We're looking for a Designer with UI/UX and some branding skills. We really need someone to give us a direction and then create a mock-up in Photoshop. We have a great logo and so far our website has done the job but is very basic www.tirosec.com . We can reuse most the content (and this can be used by the Designer) but we need a complete redesign. Keep it clear, simple, classy and uncluttered and we certainly need new color scheme.
I have attached our logo's and a copy of our business cards (the black logo is actually silver foil) to give you an idea of the sort of branding we like.
We are based in Los Angeles and our clients range from the Entertainment business and start-ups to Law and Financial firms so we need a site design that appeals to all of these sectors.
Once we have the design we can give it to our developer to turn into a working site.

The styles we like personally tend to have blocks of content and some funky HTML 5 stuff (If you can design it we can code it). Here are some examples:

We are a fun company and have a good sense of humor. Our client generally do too but they are also dealing with serious issues so if you can get something that's fun but puts across that we are serious about what we do that would be great. Oh and we love this one so if you can take some influence from this but keep it professional we would love to see it:

I also like the old typewriter style lettering i have seen used on contact forms. However this has to be a cohesive design so we want you to add what looks right not just everything we like (unless you can do that well).
