Brief de Design de Logo
Rust and Bone Training writes workouts for weight lifters. My clientele strives to reach heavy lifts and great physiques through intelligently planned, science based workouts. They are not afraid to get dirty, chalky, and sweaty. I would love the design to use rust and bone colors, and I think the skeletal and metal connotations have tons of potential. However, creativity is what I need your help with. Rustandbonetraining.com is not completely done, especially the image gallery, but it gives more info on my services and clients.
Mises à jour
Hi all, thank you so much for your designs. I like different things about each one of them. I am trying to put into words exactly what I want (to save you time/trouble), but there are some things I don't realize until I see lots of options. One thing I just realized is that I would like a non abstract symbol that could stand on its own without the words OR I don't want the words to be so prominent. I do love the rust colors, and I am finding I'm kinda partial to the skulls. Thank you all again so much. Kathryn

Hi all, thank you so much for your great designs! I have truly like something about every one of them. As I look at more, I am narrowing down some favorites things of mine. My must haves: rusty reddish color; both a bone (skull or long bone) and a metal graphic (barbell or weight plate), and a font that is Alegreya SC or very similar. I just updated my brief and uploaded a picture of weight plates I like. Maybe a plate like the one on the left with a femur on it? Or a pile of metal weights with a skull on it? I don't want it to be too macabre but I do love skulls. I am not a fan of a very stylized/cartoony look but I do like simplicity.
I will make more notes/updates if I can verbalize it better. Thank you all so very much!

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Hi all, I apologize so much for extending the deadline again. I like so many things about many of the designs, but I haven't been doing a great job providing feedback. By Friday, I will post sketches of ideas I am thinking of to try to help be as specific as possible. I very much appreciate your creativity and designs!

Hi there,
I have posted a picture of the Defend New Orleans/Team Gleason logo. I obviously can't use that - wish I could!!- but I love it! I love the skull in profile, and I think I'll have to take off the mohawk and of course use a different skull so it's not a blatant rip off. I am trying to think about how to incorporate a barbell or weight plate with a skull in profile. I am not as crazy about looking at a weight plate straight on, as it reminds me of a dinner plate, or penny. I know I'm behind on what I promised, which is sketches, but I am having trouble with that. I've been visiting tattoo parlors for inspiration, and still coming up blank! Thanks for bearing with me. I do appreciate all the designs!

Doit avoir
- Rust/dark red, and ivory colors. The font "Alegreya SC" or one very similar.
Bien d'avoir
- I also really like the idea of using some sort of bone/anatomical reference. I love skulls... but don't want to be too macabre. This might be hard to do so I appreciate your creativity. :)
I am finding I really like images with perspective. Meaning, not a weight plate dead on that just looks like a circle. I also like skulls in profile.
Ne doit pas comporter
- Anything "fitnessy" or faddish. No small dumbbells, shiny equipment, or kettlebells. Also nothing too specific about the physique since that tends to turn away people who don't bodybuild (ie, powerlifters and Olympic lifters). Nothing gender specific.
I actually like the look of barbells crossed, as in crossbones, but it is overplayed. A lot of fitness companies already use that concept, so I would like to stay away from that.
