Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo for marketing (like vehicles, clothing and website) and a business card design.

To get an idea of my company, I make custom furniture, one example, welded chairs with a mid-century modern design with seat and back wrapped in exotic-print leather (faux zebra, faux alligator, etc.), some versions with exotic wood species rather than leather.

My previous business logo used a hand saw (example pasted here from Brothers Custom Cabinets and Furniture) design that I like. What sets it apart from most other hand saws is that the points of the teeth have a curve to them rather than a simple triangle. The curved teeth look more aggressive and appealing to the eye.

I have seen some great designs using table saw blades that I am really becoming attracted to. Feel free to explore options that you feel will deliver something eye-catching that also conveys the message of products that have been hand-crafted. DO NOT use feminine, "crafty" items like glue guns and silk flowers.

Please explore modern fonts, sans serif, with sharp edges to the letters. The word RELICS should be larger than the word DESIGN.

I would like to see an option/variant with just the name, and another variation that incorporates the tag line “Built to last.” This option will not be used in all environments, especially smaller applications where details begin to lose their clarity.

The one theme all my projects have in common is that they are over-engineered to eventually become relics...heirlooms...generational pieces. Explore designs that have a sharp, industrial, metallic edge to them.

The winning design will have versions that can be displayed on both light backgrounds (such as a white cargo trailer and white business card) and black backgrounds (such as a black jacket or t-shirt).
I will need a vector file, and in addition to the standard print files please include a .psd file as well.

I also need a simplified version of the logo that can be both laser engraved on wood furniture and stamped in thin sheet metal for tags on welded furniture.

• My project must have RELICS as largest word, and when the tagline BUILT TO LAST is used it must be the smallest font. Must have an aggressive saw blade clip art. business does. RELICS must be larger than DESIGN. Font must be clearly legible at a distance.

Bien d'avoir

• I would like to see versions with RELICS inside or across the saw blade, and a version with RELICS extending beyond the outer perimeter of the blade.

Ne doit pas comporter

• My project should NOT have initials like RD. Font should NOT be in cursive or have styles with overly curvy points at the ends of letters that make letters like capital E and capital S look like a #8 at a distance.
