Brief de Design de Logo

Need a logo for my new small business. I hand paint taper candles for table decor. Need something FUN and colorful. Lots of colors! Lots of fun! Also elegant and rich. See my candles at TheFunTableCo on Instagram.

Haven’t we all been at an event where we wished we were sitting at The Fun Table?Well, we are The Fun Table, and you can sit here!

The Fun Table creates playful, hand-painted candles for any tablescape need. These candles provide a perfect ambiance for any occasion - from a casual weeknight meal with your family, to the most elegant dinner party.

My grandmother, Grandmary, always had the most beautiful table. To this day (she’s 89), she uses her pressed cloth napkins for even the most casual, just-rolled-out-of-bed breakfast. The fabric is buttery soft from having been washed a million times throughout the years. Grandmary has “passed the torch” on her holiday hosting duties, but her Thanksgiving and Christmas tables cannot be replicated. Monogrammed antique silver and crystal, mixed with holly clippings from the front yard, lighted taper candles, and place cards decorated by all the grandchildren. When you sit at Grandmary’s table, you feel love: treasured, important, and seen. Oh, and it’s also always The Fun Table. You know - the table everyone wishes they had a seat at.

My other grandmother, MamaKitty, was a well-known watercolorist in El Paso, with paintings featured all over West Texas and New Mexico. (Don’t my grandmothers have the best names?!) When I was a little girl, we would go to the zoo and sketch photos of the animals, and paint them as soon as we got home. My mom would have the works framed and I felt on top of the world!

Once I went to college, I took a beginning art class that introduced me to all types of mediums. One of my favorite projects was painting with different shades of makeup. Knowing that I couldn’t make a living as an artist, that was the only art class I completed…..I ended up with a degree in Philosophy. Oh the irony!

So here I am now! A family bout with Covid-19 kept us locked in for two weeks, and the boredom got real. The Fun Table was born in January 2022! (I’m new here.) No matter how casual your table might be, I hope you’ll be inspired to make your table The Fun Table.
