Brief de Design de Logo

I'm a hand crafted furniture company. Very modern high end furniture. 'Duramen' is the name for the heart of the tree (the very centre of the tree where the best timber is sourced from. It's what all quality furniture is made from. with duramen designs written over top or around the outside of the cut tree as youll see in the first 2 photos.
I've added a screenshot in the photos of the closest thing to what I'm after created by another designer. Love the modern simple look.
