Brief de Design de Logo

I am a small boutique salon that is going to share my space with a friend and mentor who will be hosting a hair cutting academy on days the salon is closed. Our businesses are separate, but the name "Unity" signifies the idea of "uniting stylists and education" or "educating our clients in style" it also signifies our partnership in the space. I like the idea of the Chinese symbol for unity or something of that nature...although the salon itself has no asian influence. The style is going to be sort of modern glam meets vintage.
