Brief de Design de Logo

We need a new logo for the "Port of Port Townsend." A port is a form of local government - a municipal corporation whose responsibilities include:

**Developing marine terminals and airports
**Buying and improving property for lease
**Building, operating, or leasing facilities such as marinas, industrial areas
**Providing environmental enhancement, protection and public access
**Promoting tourism as an economic stimulus

We are governed by an elected commission, independent of other local jurisdictions. Our specific Port has a ship yard, boat yard international airport, three marinas and several docks and wharfs.

Our current logo is provided along with this posting. We need a logo that is new and fresh! Something that people will recognize and relate to which depicts the services that we offer, but is tasteful, easily transferable onto letterhead, clothing, posters, websites, etc. due to its simplicity.

A new logo should reflect transition, while maintaining our maritime heritage as we look and work towards our future.

We are open to referring to ourselves as "The Port" but will need a sub-line that either says "of Port Townsend" or "serving all of Jefferson County"
