Has there been a mistake here? Only it seems this contest has ended a week early, and the chosen design doesn't appear to meet the criteria of the brief at all.

This is in your brief "Nice to Have:
- fish, cute monster, geometric, retro influences, surf board, surf culture, 70's california surf, hippy, wave, stripes. We are attaching some logos from competitors for reference. "


The logo apparently has nothing to do with the brief.Really?
Why misleading designers instead of updating your brief to something you really need?
I'm sorry but this was waste of time for me.
