Brief de Web Design

I currently have the local news website www.frontporchnewstexas.com and am seeking a new front page design that will update the main page and make it more current and user friendly, including ways to post to the sight from my cell phone, connectivity to facebook, twitter, and instagram accounts and other updates to provide clients with a "new face" and updated way of getting their news. It's been approximately 10 years since I've updated the main page and I know that it needs a fresh new look.

I'm a professional photographer, thus I want to highlight my photography work on a daily basis and offer photographs for the public to enjoy, as this has been a "drawing point" over other local media outlets.

The website is locally know for providing numerous photos of local news events and giving the public access to seeing themselves in the news.

You can also access my facebook page frontporch newstexas and see additional content that I provide there for over 17000 friends and followers.

I want a way to archive old material, for future access, but to "cut down" on the clutter of the page.

I also want to keep the way that I can sell advertising at the current ad levels but would also like to sell additional space on the sides of the front page, for increase revenue.

I currently update the website with macro-media contribute, daily.

I have some ideas in mind, but am open to new and fresh ideas and ways to make it more user friendly. If you have any questions, please message me and I'll try to explain more fully.
